The Torre Alfina Castle hosts the Experiential Training BarCamp (ETB), the first meeting occasion in Italy dedicated to the methodology of experiential training. It is based on the experimentation of real situations, the performance of tasks, games and role-playing aimed at experiential and extra-sensorial learning

As part of the corporate events organised at our castle, the Experiential Training BarCamp (ETB) will be held on 29/30 September 2023. In the panorama of innovative training methodologies, the ETB represents a unique and stimulating event with the ambitious goal of promoting free thinking, curiosity and the dissemination of experiential training methods. It is aimed at trainers, consultants, HR managers, but also and anyone who wants to learn about new learning techniques.

Unique Learning Opportunity

One of the distinctive features of ETB is its participatory learning philosophy. During BarCamp, spectators become active participants, joining a collaborative learning community. The basis of BarCamp is collective intelligence: "nobody knows everything, everybody knows something". The objective is not the sale of products or services, but the creation and consolidation of relationships between those who work in or benefit from experiential learning.

Activities and Awards

The ETB offers a wide range of sessions and activities during the two-day event. The agenda includes plenary openings, technical sessions, socialising, dinners and even an exciting ETB talk session with expert speakers. New for the 2023 edition is the ETB Awards, where participants can provide feedback on the workshops. At the end of the BarCamp, the workshop that received the best feedback will be awarded.

The Experiential Training BarCamp is more than just a training event. It is an opportunity for experiential training enthusiasts to share ideas, experiences and knowledge with an open and collaborative community.
